The Sunseeker Camargue 50 has always been a touchstone for exhilarating performance, luxurious finish, and engineering excellence. This well-maintained 2002 example is beautifully presented and much upgraded– with smart black hull wrap, rich high-gloss cherry interior joinery, a huge sunseeking cockpit, and reliable twin Caterpillar 660HP diesels to sweep you along.
Designed by Don Shead and built during the Poole yacht builder’s heyday, using an uncompromising deep-vee hull profile, ABRAXAS offers refined two cabin accommodation – both with ensuite – and an open-plan saloon/galley layout that is made for entertaining on board. Her cockpit galley has been refitted, and her original teak decking has been replaced with super-practical synthetic teak-effect decking, her interior linings have been refreshed, and she now sports an updated electronic navigational suite.
She is wonderfully practical as a home from home, well-serviced, runs like clockwork and can turn her hand to many roles. Fitted with diesel heating as well as air-conditioning, upgrade generator, passarelle and capacious dinghy garage – we think she gives a huge amount of bang for the buck. Her current Owners have thoroughly enjoyed their time with her – and are now aiming to move up in size within the brand.
ABRAXAS has been a truly wonderful boat for us — stylish, capable, comfortable and enormous fun. She has looked after us brilliantly, whether for relaxed days on the water, weekends away or time spent entertaining family and friends. The cockpit is a fantastic social space, the accommodation is practical and welcoming, and she has always felt reassuringly solid underway.
We have invested in her care and upgrades because she has been a boat we genuinely wanted to keep at her best. The only reason for selling is that our family is growing and we now need to move up to a larger boat with more space. ABRAXAS has given us many happy memories and we hope her next owners enjoy her every bit as much as we have.
