Windy Boats, established in 1966, by the founder Hugo Vold, the son of a fisherman, whose father named his boats “VINDY,” were a family well accustomed to the perils of the oceans. Sound build quality combined with superior seakeeping would be the foundations of a company now 50+ successful years on. Windy still have the desire to be the best. All Windy Boats bear a hallmark of quality with no compromises, to this day they have achieved five decades of boatbuilding excellence, and centuries of Scandinavian seafaring heritage.

Windy have built multi award winning sports cruisers and have moved very quickly on trends, while maintaining their solid reputation and prominence within the industry. The legendary Norwegian build quality and exceptional handling characteristics on the water have made the brand an ideal choice for many.

The Windy 37 Grand Mistral Hardtop broke the mould for all weather, high-speed passage making. The Hans J. Johnsen designed hulls are forgiving in a seaway, yet precise, easily driven and immensely strong – giving the driver great control and confidence in the ability of these beautiful hulls. Hugely successful over a 13 year build program, the 37 is perhaps the ideal family cruiser; with versatile accommodation, top-drawer build quality and fantastic manners through the water.

ARTEMIS has the popular optional hardtop with powered sunroof, smart charcoal upholstery, joystick docking and a stunning high gloss joinery finish. This is an exceptionally nicely presented and maintained Grand Mistral Hardtop, only in her second ownership and in super condition. Her twin 260HP D4 diesels are impressively frugal, and will return a fuel economy of just over 50 lph combined at 25 knots, and will top out in the high thirties when asked. Having had a major service for the 2023 season, including a removal and strip-down of her coolers, she is vyer well set-up fotr extenderd cruising, and is one of the truly great designs to come from the Windy stable.

ARTEMIS has been a fabulous craft throughout our ownership; easily blending great seakeeping in all conditions and exhilarating handling with comfort for overnight trips away. We have continued the complete and diligent maintenance program she has enjoyed
from new.

As one of the very last of this model built she benefits from many upgrades simply unavailable in other 37’s and is thus unique. The Joystick docking is a particular pleasure and the charcoal upholstery gives her a fresher feel than previous models from the range. Time on our hands and bigger adventures lead us to a larger Windy to continue our adventures, but without doubt, Artemis is the best in her class and she has been an unforgettable part of our lives over the last few years.
