The Windy 46 Chinook is a true class leader in terms of performance, handling and quality of build, combined with spacious and luxuriously appointed accommodation. The ergonomic helm position is one of the best on the market. The trick of housing three double cabins and two very good WC/showers is a tough one to pull off – but the 46 never feels cramped.

She is supplied with custom-made bedding and lounge cushions, and shows beautifully. This is not the boat for everyone, but a boat for those who strive for a superior level of build, ability and finish. In short, the 46 is very much a motor-yacht for those who take their boating seriously.

Owner’s Comments

We bought IMPULSE from new five years ago and she still puts a smile on our faces whenever we take her out. She runs very smoothly in calm conditions, when she is happy cruising at 30+ knots, but she also handles big seas well. The combination of DPS and the extra joystick we had fitted on the stern quarter makes docking her very easy when short-handed. Having the remote controlled hydraulic platform at the stern makes launching and retrieval of a dinghy for going ashore very safe, dry, and easy. Having been used by us almost entirely as a day boat, IMPULSE is still in immaculate condition. She has spent her life on a relatively well sheltered marina berth.
